Litestar is a production-grade, highly performant framework for quickly building APIs and web applications. It is not quite as barebones as frameworks like Flask or as bulky as frameworks like Django.
It is a highly opinionated ASGI framework, offering first class typing support and a full Pydantic integration.

Litestar is a community-driven project. This means not a single author, but rather a core team of maintainers is leading the project, supported by a community of contributors.
