Accuracy and Speed

Prevail’s AI-powered transcription service makes rough drafts available in real time. In just five days, parties can access transcripts which are certified accurate by an AAERT-certified digital reporter who is a notary in the applicable state.

Security and Confidentiality

Prevail is ISO 27001 certified and SOC 2 Type 2 attested and offers the highest degree of data security in legal transcription. Transcription data remains in a secure cloud environment throughout the entire process, making your confidential testimony and exhibits safer and less susceptible to hacking and other risks.

* Because Prevail’s platform replaces the existing videoconferencing platform, all parties must agree to use the AI transcription service. Prevail does not offer stenographic transcripts. Parties must review the relevant law and agreement before requesting the electronic transcription services offered by Prevail. JAMS receives a fee of $50 per recorded hour from Prevail for administrative support.

Steno provides certified transcripts for ADR proceedings that require stenographer certification and are selected by the parties, partnering with certified stenographic court reporters. These professionals bring procedural oversight and deep familiarity with arbitration practice, with options such as real-time reporting, expedited delivery, and synchronized video when appropriate

Responsive Support

Steno supports complex arbitrations through dedicated coordination and real-time responsiveness. Requests are prioritized, with prompt, human support from scheduling through transcript delivery to maintain a smooth, reliable process. 

Flexible Formats and Remote Capabilities

Well suited for in-person and hybrid hearings, Steno supports proceedings conducted in select JAMS Resolution Centers and integrates with hearing room technology as needed. For remote arbitrations, Steno enables efficient exhibit management and smooth integration with virtual platforms, allowing parties to stay focused on the substance of the proceeding.
